One Year of Building Archer’s Community Hub

One year ago, Archer’s Community Hub was little more than an idea a belief that Greater Victoria deserved a place where creativity, culture, education, and community could exist under one roof. Today, that vision has become reality.
Every week, our building is filled with artists creating, musicians recording, entrepreneurs building businesses, community members finding support, and people of every age and background discovering that they belong here. While we’ve accomplished more than we ever imagined in twelve short months, we’re also at a turning point. We’ve built something special together, but now we need our community’s help to keep it growing.

Visibility creates opportunity

Over the past year, Archer’s Community Hub has transformed into one of Greater Victoria’s most diverse creative and community spaces.

What started as empty rooms has become a thriving home for education, wellness, arts, music, business, and community programming. Perhaps most importantly, We’ve created an inclusive place where everyone is welcome.Whether someone walks through our doors looking to learn a new skill, record music, teach a class, showcase artwork, host an event, or simply connect with others, they’re welcomed as part of our community.

Built By Community, For Community

None of this happened alone, hundreds of volunteer hours have been invested. Our core team has personally contributed thousands of dollars combined to help transform the space into what it is today.

We are incredibly grateful to the Saanich Legacy Foundation for welcoming us as one of their community partners. Their support and belief in what we’re building has meant more than words can express, and we’re proud to stand alongside organizations working every day to strengthen our communities.

We’re currently waiting to hear back on several grant applications that will help us expand our programs and make improvements throughout the Hub. Until then, the day-to-day reality remains the same .. operating costs still need to be covered every month. Every donation and every bit of support helps us keep the doors open for our community.

The Vision Is Built, Now We Need Help Sustaining It

When Founder Jonathan Thompson first imagined Archer’s Community Hub, the goal wasn’t simply to create another studio or community centre. It was to build a place where opportunity could exist for everyone. A place where people could create.

One year later, that vision is no longer just an idea. It’s happening every single day. Now comes the next chapter. We’re asking our community, in the most humble way possible, to help us keep moving forward. No donation is too small. Every dollar goes directly back into programming, equipment, maintaining the building, and ensuring Archer’s Community Hub remains accessible for everyone who walks through our doors.
