Archer’s Community Hub (A.R.C.H.) — Fort Street, Victoria BC
Local Artists Wanted
Shape the visual identity of downtown Victoria
We’re partnering with a Fort Street neighbour on a storefront revitalization project — and we want the community at the centre of it. This is an open call for muralists, street artists, and mixed media creators to submit a concept for a 10 ft × 15 ft storefront door installation in the heart of downtown.
The Opportunity
Public art changes how a neighbourhood feels. It turns blank walls into conversation starters, brings identity to spaces that get overlooked, and gives artists a platform outside of galleries and into real life.
This project is about more than aesthetics — it’s about building culture at street level. And if you’ve been looking for a way to break into Victoria’s art scene or expand your presence, this is one of those moments you don’t want to miss.
The Theme
Community · Growth · Connection
Your interpretation, your style — no single vision required. Whether your work leans raw and expressive or clean and conceptual, what matters is how your concept connects with the people who walk past it every day.
What to Submit
Think of it like pitching your idea. Show us how you’d bring this wall to life. You’ll need:
- A rough sketch or mock-up
- A mood board (optional but recommended)
- A short artist statement explaining your concept
